LOTTE India Corporation Limited (LOTTE INDIA), formerly known as Parry's Confectionary Limited, is a leading Manufacturer and Distributor of Confectionary products based in India. The company manufactures and markets hard boiled confectionary, toffees, chewing gum and bubble gum. It sells its products under Éclairs, Coffee Bite, Lacto King, Caramilk, Chocó pie, Booproo bubble gum and Spout chewing gum. The three L's in the LOTTE Emblem stand for Love, Liberty and Life. On entering the premises, we were welcomed by Mr. Vijay, Manager of the company, who took the sole responsibility in giving a brief description about the company and its objectives. The impressive factor was the cleanliness of the building. It was absolutely spic and span with smartly dressed workers performing their duties.

The industrial visit provided an insight on how the company works and also useful information to the practical aspects of the company which cannot be visualized in lectures. It was really an exhilarating day for each one of us in the industry. On the whole the industrial visit was a highly educative one allowing us to know how the management functions in real life situations and how the management concepts studied in B-schools are practiced in reality.
