Business Line (BL) club inauguration on 13th Dec 2011.

BL club tie up between NIMS and Business Line newspaper is to improve the co-curricular activities of the students. Guest speaker Mr.sivasubramaniam gave a thought provoking speech regarding effectiveness needed for an employee.

He differentiated effectiveness and efficiency which are generally confused organisational terms. He gave a mind blowing lecture about how an employee can shine by improving effectiveness in performance. How to say no for certain works which are imposed on sub ordinates which in turn reduce the effectiveness of the employee. He also elaborated on how to manage time. He quoted Peter Drucker as main example to improve effectiveness.
