Dr S.Subramanian is presently Professor in National Institute of Management Studies, Chennai. He is a Post-Graduate in Commerce and Management and has completed his Ph.D degree in Management from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli. He has qualified in SLST for Lecturership conducted by the University of Madras. He has over two decades (23) of PG teaching and research experience in Management, Commerce and Computer applications. He has specialized in Finance and Marketing and his areas of research interest is Banking and Finance. He has guided twenty four M. Phil research (regular) scholars and guiding eight scholars in Management studies. He has published six articles in National and two in International referred Journals. He has also presented twenty two research papers on International and National UGC, AICTE sponsored conferences and seminars. He has participated in two Faculty Development Programmes (FDP) and more than ten seminars. He has also experience in editing books, conducting courses, organizing National Level Seminars, Member in Board of Studies and Academic Council. He has been acting as resource person and panel of examiners for the PG programme conducted in different Colleges and Universities. He has visited countries such as Abhudhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.

Tony Joseph, an Associate Professor at National Institute of Management Studies, has a career spanning over 26 years with major part in Industry and a few years into teaching. A B.Sc. (Chemistry) and MBA, he has hands on experience in various managerial areas like Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Sales MIS, Marketing Research, TQM, to mention a few. He is a professional trainer with over 10000 professional training hours in the institutions worked. He has delivered guest lectures at Kirloskar Institute of Management and TKM College. As a trainer, he has conducted Management Development skills programs in Standard Chartered and L&T ltd. He has experience handling Marketing Research Projects as part of the job role in Standard Chartered bank. He has visited various countries like Bhutan, Srilanka, UAE, UK, Malaysia and Singapore.

Baby Thomas, an Associate Professor at our Institute is a B.Com., MBA, M.Phil. and currently pursuing his Ph.D. from Jawarharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU). His initial career was as an Area Sales Manager and moved on to teaching from the year 2000. He has attended various Conferences and published papers in National Journals. He has visited many countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Mauritius, Dubai, Baharin, Malaysia, Singapore and Uganda. His expertise lies in handling Marketing papers.

Salim K.M., an Associate Professor at our Institute is a B.Com., MBA has more than a decade's experience in teaching. He has been with the organization from 2006. His expertise lies in handling Marketing papers.

N.Rajaveni, Assistant Professor, National Institute of Management Studies, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India, is a Post Graduate in Business Administration from Velammal Institute of Management Studies under the University of Madras (First Rank Holder) and PG diploma in Production Management from Annamalai University. She has M.Phil from Alagappa University. She has Ten Years of Industry Experience in SANMAR Group and Ten Years of Teaching Experience.

She received 'Best Teacher Award' thrice at National Institute of Management Studies, Chennai during 2008, 2009 and 2010 and 'Vigyan Jyothi Award' for excellent achievement in education field by Sri K H Muniyappa, Honourable Union Minister of State for Railway in 'National Conference Vision 2025' on 11/09/2010 at Bangaluru. She has guided more than 100 Post Graduate and Graduate projects. She has several articles published in academic journals and presented research papers in numerous National and International Seminars and Conferences conducted by leading Universities and Institutes of repute.

In addition, she has organized several Workshops, Seminars and Training programmes for MBA students. She is currently doing Ph.D in Sathyabama University, Chennai under the guidance of Dr.M.Ramasamy, Professor (Retired), Department of Management Studies, University of Madras, Chennai.

P. Kamlakannan is an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Management Studies, Chennai. He worked in Industry in various capacities for 25 years before moving on to academia at Madras School of Social Work, Chennai. He earned B.Sc. Industrial Management Degree from College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, MBA from University of Madras and M.Phil. from Alagappa University. His current research and teaching interest areas include Training and Development, HRM, TQM and Production Management.

S.Veena, B.Com. alumnus of Fatima College kick-started her career as the Head of the Department of BBA in the same college after completing her MBA from Madurai Kamaraj University. She worked there for 10 years actively conducting seminars and participating in various environmental friendly programs (initiating Green Club).

She moved on to ICFAI National College as a Faculty of Finance and incharge of placements. She later joined IILM as Assistant Professor and took up responsibilities like Placement Training, arranging Guest Lectures and Industrial Visits.

Her expertise lies in handling finance papers.

Mr. O S Saravanan is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at NIMS. He earlier served as the Head of the Department of Commerce, Sri Devi College of Arts and Science, Ponneri and Faculty in the Department of Commerce and NSS Programme Officer, Mohamed Sathak College of Arts and Science, Sholinganallur and part time experience in Non Banking Finance Companies and Iron and Steel Hardware Business. He specializes in the areas of Quantitative methods, Research Methodology, Applied Operation Research, Management Information System and Electronic Data Processing, Accounting and Finance. He obtained B.Com., M.Com., M.Sc., from University of Madras, M.B.A., from Indra Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), and Professional Qualification of Cost Accounting (Intermediate) from I.C.W.A.I. Kolkatta. He cleared UGC NET (Management), SET (Management), UGC NET (Commerce), JRF (Commerce) and SLET (Commerce). He has teaching experience of more than 10 years in subjects related to Finance, Accounting, Tax and Management. He has been associated with counseling programme in the field of Business Administration, Commerce, Psychology and UGC NET/SET conducted by various universities in Southern India and IGNOU. He has presented several research papers in National and International Conferences. He has submitted his Doctoral thesis (Ph.D) in the field of Micro Finance to the University of Madras.

Lavanya L, Assistant Professor at our Institute is an MBA, M.Sc.(Psy), ACS-Inter & M.Phil. She has cleared UGC-NET and currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the area of "Women Empowerment and Work Life Balance Practices". Coming with experience in Industry for about 5 years in Recruitment, Social Compliance and Training, she has also 2 years of academic experience to her credit working with SRM University, Ramapuram.

She has presented papers in various National and International Conferences and all the papers presented have been published.

Her areas of specialization are HR, Strategic Management, Business and Labour Laws and Soft Skills.

Mr.R.K.Lenin is presently involved in his pursuit of forwarding his academic aim to impart managerial excellence to the students of National Institute of Management Studies as Assistant Professor. He is actively engaged in teaching various subjects of Post Graduate Studies. He has teaching experience of more than 3 years in the department of Business Administration at NIMS. He holds Dual Post Graduation degree of Commerce and Business Administration. He has qualified UGC NET in both Commerce and Business Administration from the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. His areas of interests include Finance, Accounting, Marketing and Human Resource Management. He has participated in a number of national and international conferences and has many paper presentations to his credit. He has also organized and coordinated a number of Industrial Visits, Management Meets, Guest Lectures, Seminars, Events and Panel Discussions.

Ms.R. Harini Hingnekar works here as a faculty, who holds three years of experience in teaching with a prior experience as HR Executive in IT sector for a year. She holds Bachelors in Information Systems Management from University of Madras, stood as seventh rank holder and has also completed Masters in Business Administration from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Specializing in Hospital and Health Systems Management and was a Gold Medalist. She has also completed her M.Sc in Guidance and counseling, MA in Women's Studies and M.Com in Finance, through distance education. She has cleared National Eligibility Test for Lectureship, conducted by UGC. In her three years of teaching tenure, she has been handling papers in HR and Marketing Specialization and Communication Skills.

She has published an article based on 'MOTIVATION AND ORGANISATIONAL COMMITMENT' in the book named 'MOTIVATIONAL PRACTICES IN ORGANISATIONS'. Apart from this, she has also been writing course materials for Distance Education courses, for certain universities.

B. Ganesan, B.Sc., MBA, M.Phil., is an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Management Studies. He has cleared UGC-NET and currently pursuing his Ph.D. He has more than eleven years of industry experience and 3 years of teaching experience.
